I requested they give me a refund for the one slice of pie I didn't get. Turns out I did correctly order 4 slices but they made a mistake and only put in 3 slices but I was still charged for 4 slices of pie. Confused, I called the restaurant to see whats going on and I wondered if I accidentally only put in an order for 3 slices instead of 4. When I opened the bag, I realized I only got 3 slices of pie. I ordered 4 slices of pie to go because I wanted to try out different flavors. When it came time for the checkout I was told that this is a cash only restaurant which annoyed me right off the bat but I didn't say anything because there are other places that have this policy as well. It was not bad by any means but it wasn't as good as I expected because Food Insider hyped this place up as the best cheeseburger in LA. Ordered a beef cheeseburger, chocolate milkshake, fries, and apple pie for dessert. Drove 40 minutes just to visit this place. I was very excited to try this restaurant after seeing it on YouTube (Food Insider and The Try Guys). Not sure if we'd give it another go but glad we tried this place regardless. Husband was disappointed by the lack of sauce on both pizzas so we got a side of pizza sauce which tasted fresh, hot, and had a delightful zest to it highly recommended. Took a gamble with today's farmers market pizza which was simpler than expected but somewhat redeemed by the balsamic drizzle. We enjoyed the mother earth pizza (added mushrooms for $3 and super worth it for mushrooms lovers). Husband said his iced tea tasted mediocre and my arnold palmer was weak. The pickles were interesting (never had pickled celery before.) but we probably won't be ordering them again. On to the food. The vegetarian chopped salad looked sad and tasted meh. Once you're called, you receive your table number placard, place your own order and pay via kiosk, then select your own indoor or outdoor table where servers will bring your items. After a 14 minute drive + 8 minute park/walk over, we arrived just in time to be "1st in line" on moderately busy Friday night. Joined the waitlist using Yelp (8th in line). ~$15-25 per on Instagram for more in depth reviews!
